Our Policies

Cancellations 
Cancellation deadlines are based on the scheduled arrival date:

September 1 – October 2930 days prior to arrival
October 30 – October 3145 days prior to arrival

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel by 5:00pm on the applicable cancellation deadline by calling the hotel and speaking live with a front desk staff member. Cancellation requests by email or voicemail will not be accepted. Reservations cancelled after the applicable deadline are non-refundable. However, we will make every effort to re-book the room and, if we are able to do so, may offer a refund less any applicable processing fees.

Payment
At the time of booking, The Cabot Lodge will pre-authorize the credit card for the total reservation amount to verify that the card is valid and sufficient funds are available. This is not a charge. Depending on your bank, the authorization may appear as a temporary hold on your accountFor reservations made more than 30 days before arrival, the authorization may expire or disappear from your account before payment is collected. This does not mean your reservation has been cancelled.
The credit card on file will be charged in full on the applicable cancellation deadline shown in our Cancellation Policy.If the credit card is declined when payment is due, you must provide a new valid credit card within 24 hours. If payment is not received, the reservation may be cancelled. All reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival.

Smoking, Vaporizers & Diffusers
The Cabot Lodge is a smoke, vape and flame-free hotel. The use of any product or device that burns, heats, vaporizes, or aerosolizes tobacco, cannabis, concentrates, oils or other substance that produces a flame, smoke or odor is prohibited anywhere inside the hotel. A $250 cleaning and remediation fee may be charged as well as any additional costs resulting from damage, specialized cleaning or remediation due to violation of this policy. Guests who violate this policy may be required to leave the hotel without reimbursement.

Quiet Hours
Please be respectful of other guests at all times, especially when enjoying our lounge. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. Any violation or disturbances will result in a $100 fine charged to the guest’s credit card. More than one incident and that guest will be required to leave without reimbursement.

Visitors
Guests may have visitors during regular business hours, but must get approval from staff to have anyone in the hotel after 5:00pm that is not listed on the reservation.

Age Requirements
Guests must be 21 years of age to stay at The Cabot Lodge, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Damages
While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.

Pets & Service Animals
The Cabot Lodge is a pet-free hotel.
Pets, emotional support, comfort, or therapy animals are not permitted. Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A service animal must be trained to perform work or a specific task directly related to a person’s disability. Guests traveling with a service animal are encouraged to notify us prior to arrival so that we may plan appropriately for their stay. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times and may not be left unattended in the hotel.

Electric Scooters & E-Bikes
Electric scooters, E-bikes, and similar recreational battery-powered transportation devices may not be brought, stored or charged inside the hotel. This restriction does not apply to mobility devices used by guests with disabilities, which will be accommodated in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable safety requirements

Force Majeure
The Cabot Lodge will not be responsible for delays, interruptions or the inability to provide accommodations or services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances may include severe weather or natural disasters, fire, government orders, utility outages, interruption of water, sewer, electrical, internet or telecommunications services, failure of heating or air-conditioning systems, or other events that make it unsafe, impossible or unlawful to operate the hotel or provide the reserved accommodations. In such circumstances, The Cabot Lodge will make reasonable efforts to assist affected guests but will not be responsible for incidental or consequential expenses or losses, including transportation, alternate accommodations or other travel-related costs.

Guest Room Ladders
The Cabot Lodge is not responsible for any injury or damage of any kind to person or property from the use of ladders or accessing and occupying the loft in our guest rooms. Guests agree to use the ladder and loft at their own risk and are hereby notified of the inherent hazards and risks and must use caution when ascending and descending the ladders and occupying the lofted spaces. Children must be at least 8 years old to access the loft and should never be left alone unsupervised. 

Obvious Errors
Reservations with room rates that are an obvious error or misprint are not binding (example: Room Rate of $19 while typical rates are $199).

Agreement
By completing a reservation with The Cabot Lodge, the Guest acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the hotel’s policies, cancellation requirements and applicable fees. The Guest making the reservation is responsible for ensuring that all members of their party comply with these policies during their stay.
