Driving Directions
The North Shore of Boston was coined the “Gold Coast” where many wealthy families summered, riding the train from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. Today Beverly is still easily accessible by car or train from Boston. The Beverly Depot is the central station for trains, with connections to nearby Salem, Gloucester, Rockport, and Manchester attractions.
From Salem
Walk or drive from Salem 2.7 miles over the bridge along 1A-North and continue onto Cabot Street. Ride the train one stop from Salem to Beverly Depot and walk to the hotel. (15 minutes door to door).
Driving from Logan Airport
Follow Airport Exit signs to MA-1A. From there, follow to Rte US 1 North. Take exit for 128 N. From 128 North take Exit 45B and you’ll be directed onto Cabot Street. Follow the road until you arrive at 278 Cabot in Beverly’s downtown. The hotel is on your right (typically 45 minutes door to door).
Driving From Boston
Proceed on I-93 or Rte 1 North until you see signs for 95 North/ 128 North. From 128 North take Exit 45B and you’ll be directed onto Cabot Street. Follow the road until you arrive at 278 Cabot in Beverly’s downtown. The hotel is on your right (typically 55 minutes door to door).
Train from Boston
If you’re headed on the Commuter Rail Train from Boston’s North Station, take the Newburyport/Rockport line to the Beverly Depot stop. When you arrive you’ll have a 10 minute walk to the hotel entrance (typically 50 minutes door to door).
Parking
There are two metered public parking lots directly behind the hotel on Pond Street. From our front door on Cabot Street turn onto Pond Street to find a space for your vehicle. Once parked, you’ll be able to walk to restaurants, bars, and cafes from our doorstep. The meters are $0.50/hr from 8am-8pm, free overnight, also free Sundays and holidays. You may pay with a credit card, coins, or the Passport app. The lot directly behind our building fills up quickly on weekends and for special events. There is additional parking across from our building on Pond Street and on our building’s side in the lower lot. Please plan accordingly.
Uber/Lyft
If you want to ditch the car, ride-sharing services are readily available in Beverly.
