Cancellations

  • Guests who cancel 7 days or more from the day of arrival will receive a full refund.
  • Guests who cancel between 7 days and 72 hours from the day of arrival are charged 50% of the booking amount.*
  • Guests who cancel less than 72 hours from the day of arrival (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.*

Reservation with an arrival date between September 1 and October 31.

  • Guests who cancel 14 days or more from the day of arrival will receive a full refund.
  • Guests who cancel between 14 days and 7 days from the day of arrival are charged 50% of the booking amount.*
  • Guests who cancel less than 7 Days from the day of arrival (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.*

*If we can re-book the reservation before the scheduled arrival date, we will issue a full refund, less a $30 re-booking fee.

Room Blocks must give 45 days notice for a full refund, unless otherwise specified in the Room Block Contract.

Payment
Upon booking a reservation, The Cabot Lodge will authorize a payment equal to the first night stay. This is a pending “authorization” and will be removed from your credit card statement within 5-7 business days. We will charge the full reservation amount to the credit card on file 7 days (14 days in Sept/Oct) prior to your arrival date. If the credit card is declined, you must provide the hotel with a new valid form of payment at least 7 days (14 days in Sept/Oct) prior to arrival, or the reservation will be cancelled.

Smoke-Free Hotel
The Cabot Lodge is a 100% smoke and flame-free property.  Smoking of any kind (including vaping/e-cigarettes), is not permitted. Guests will be asked to leave without reimbursement and assessed a minimum $250 cleaning fee if it has been determined that they have been smoking, vaping or burning candles or incense in any part of the Hotel.

Alcohol 
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol on the premises. Please drink responsibly and be considerate of those around you.

Pets
Regrettably, pets of any kind are NOT allowed in any part of the hotel. If a guest requires a service or support animal, they must get approval before booking a reservation.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. Any quiet hour violations and/or disturbances will result in a $100 fine per incident. More than one incident and that guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.

Guest Requirements
You must be 21 years of age, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian to stay at The Cabot Lodge. 

Damages
While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.​

Hazardous Items
No items that are illegal, hazardous, or disruptive to staff or guests are allowed in the hotel. A guest found having such items anywhere within the hotel will be asked to leave without reimbursement.

Items Left Behind
We are pleased to mail personal items left behind after your departure. Please understand that we will bill your credit card on file for any shipping and handling charges. 

Force Majeure
The Cabot Lodge shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature or any causes beyond our control, including computer, internet, telecommunication or other equipment failure, loss of data, disruption of utilities such as water/sewer, electrical service, heating or air conditioning, or disaster or any circumstance that makes it impossible or illegal to provide or use the Hotel’s facilities.

Guest Room Ladders
The Cabot Lodge is not responsible for any injury from use of ladders in guest rooms, be it from reckless behavior or misuse of ladders by its guests. Guests are hereby notified of the inherent hazards and risks associated with climbing ladders to access the lofted beds on the premises.

Accessibility
Our Crew is committed to accommodating all guests to the best of our ability; however, due to the petite nature of our property, The Cabot Lodge may not be fully accessible to every individual. Our rooms are designed for guests who utilize a wheelchair, require extra space, have limited mobility, or have other limitations. While our Accessible Queen Quarters accommodation and common areas do meet Massachusetts state requirements for ADA accessibility, some guests may find that our space does not suit their individual needs.
