We Launched Our Blog!
We did it! We launched a blog! This has been a dream of ours since we opened back in 2019, and we are finally able to make it a reality. Though the past year was difficult in more ways than one, it gave us a chance to take a step back and focus on pursuing our goals. We’ve put a lot of time and energy into preparing for this launch, and we are thrilled we can finally share our excitement with all of you.
Our hope in writing these posts is to encourage you all to explore the amazing place that we are lucky to call home. Whether you’re local to Beverly, or visiting from out of town, our crew aims to create a personalized local experience for every guest…and this is just the beginning! The Cabot Lodge’s first year was filled with so many amazing guests, memories, and a whole lot of support from our local Beverly community. We truly could not have made it without all of you, and for that, we are grateful.
Although we could fill a book with our experiences from this past year, our crew has compiled a short collection of thoughts and words of gratitude reflecting on what the past year has meant to all of us:

July 21, 2019: Our first feature in the press. September 27, 2019: We partnered with Atomic Coffee, Harbor Sweets, and Firsthand Supply to provide guests with the best local products. October 20, 2019: Opening Day! April 14, 2020: Annie welcomed Margaret (Peggy) Coe to the world! September 3, 2020: The Cabot Lodge reached 1k Followers on Instagram! With a celebratory first giveaway of course…because hey, you have to. September 21, 2020: Featured in Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce’s “We’re Here for You” video featuring local Beverly businesses. October 20, 2020: Our one-year birthday! December 7, 2020: Accepted the Flexipass Excellence Award for Keyless Mobile Access. December 21, 2020: Our property hit 100 reviews on TripAdvisor (achieving a 98% Excellence Score from our guests). May 29, 2021: Our hotel was awarded “Traveler’s Choice 2021” on TripAdvisor. |
WHAT OUR GUESTS WERE SAYING THEN…
“I was there on the first day this hotel opened! It’s beautiful! Brand new construction in an historic building right in downtown Beverly (which is booming). The room was great – mattresses are all from the famous Gardner Mattress Co. in Salem, bedding and towels all top shelf, flat screen, and wifi. Even the soaps in the bathroom are top notch. There was also a coffee nook with a nice couch and tv to lounge in in the morning. There are restaurants all up and down the street, and I parked in the public lot behind the building. I’d go back in a minute and will recommend! I like that it is locally owned by a young woman who grew up in the area. It’s a huge plus for the City of Beverly.”

The future is bright! Our Crew is anxiously awaiting the summer months when travel can begin to resume at a normal pace. We have so many travel tips and local attractions we want to share, and we can’t wait to get started. Whether you’re interested in beaches, hiking, art, or food; the North Shore has something for everyone to enjoy.
