Q: Do you have non-smoking rooms?
A: Yes! All rooms are Smoke-Free on property. This includes candles and smoking of any kind.
Q: Are you open 24 hours?
A: Yes! The building is accessible to guests 24 hours. Due to our small team, staff are on premises to service and assist you from 9am – 5pm on weekdays, and 10am – 5pm on weekends. After hours, guests must use their Bluetooth key to access the front door and their individual guest room. A traditional key will be placed in your room for your convenience. Many of our guests find their key email in their spam folder, so be sure to check there with the subject “Your room is ready at The Cabot Lodge!” If you require assistance for any reason after hours, you may call the main line and be connected to our Head of House.
Q: How does a Bluetooth key work?
A: Our Bluetooth locks allow you to privately access the front door and your guest room 24 hours from your smart phone. We will issue a Bluetooth code to your email on the day of arrival around check-in time, and you may follow the simple 30 second instructions to check-in and enjoy the hotel. To use the key for entry, open the app on your phone, hold phone with the screen facing you, and place the back of the phone on the black key reader. Viola! You’re in!
Q: Can I park on property?
A: Yes! Overnight and daily metered parking is available in the municipal parking lots behind our building on Pond Street. Pay at the outdoor kiosks using the “Pay-by-Plate” system that accepts credit cards for $0.50/hour from 8am-8pm. Parking is free overnight, Sundays, and on eligible holidays. The lot directly behind our building fills up quickly on weekends and for special events. There is additional parking across from our building on Pond Street and on our building’s side in the lower lot. Please plan accordingly.
Q: May I unload luggage from my vehicle?
A: Yes! There is a 15-minute guest drop-off area on Pond Street which allows you to easily load/unload luggage before parking your car behind the building.
Q: Do you offer early check-in/late check-out?
A: Yes! We would be happy to add an early check-in or late check-out to your reservation for an additional fee of $30. Please call us directly to request (subject to availability).
Q: Do you offer breakfast?
A: We do not have a restaurant on site, but encourage all of our guests to explore the many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance! Please click here for a list of dining options in Beverly. Guests will have access to complimentary tea, coffee, and water in our lounge area. You’ll also find a shared microwave and refrigerator for guest use.
Q: How big are your rooms?
A: Inspired by the sleeping quarters of historic New England Clipper Ships, your efficient accommodations are casual and comfortable. Our petite rooms vary in layout and are approximately 128-188 square feet.
Q: Does your hotel allow dogs?
A: While everyone at the Cabot Lodge loves animals of all kinds, regrettable we can not allow pets of any kind with the exception of service animals. Please see Our Policies page.
Q: Does every room have a private bathroom?
A: Yes! All rooms have a private bathroom, including walk-in rain head shower.
